The Joy of Shopping
I really love shopping, shopping for books. i get so happy and excited when im choosing the book, when i am paying for the book, and when im unpacking them from the bag. and to think 2 mega christian bookstores are having a sale during my birthday! unfortunately i didnt know tecman was also having a sale. but now YOU KNOW.
I bought 6 books, and including Desiring God and Knowing God that is still waiting for me on my shelf, ive got 8 books! wonder how im gonna get through that. but at least today im reading my last chapter of future grace! right after i click publish post. ha.

The Sufficiency of the Word
2 Timothy 3:15-17
"15 and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are
able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16
All Scripture is
breathed out by God and profitable for
teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be
competent, equipped for every good work. (italics mine)
Honestly, if you ask me, i dont need to explain any further. embrace this! O how blessed are we to have scripture! that it is able to make us wise for salvation-through faith in Christ Jesus! and honestly, besides salvation, what more do we need! that we are saved from our depths of depravity, to be saved by grace, through faith in Christ Jesus! BUT NO, IT DOESNT END THERE!
It is profitable for teaching! reproof! correction! for the word of God is living and active! Heb 4:12! that we may be competent, equipped for EVERY good work!
How many a times do we evangelise, leaving out scripture for its "inappropriateness". that we just speak on testimonies, and maybe even telling them full well that they are sinners, and that they need Christ. how foolish of us! do we not know that it Faith comes from hearing and hearing from through the Word of God?(Rom 10:17)
Indeed scripture is sufficient in all things! in battling sin, and essential in our walk with God!(1 Peter 2:2) For are we not sanctified by truth?(John 17:17)
Scripture itself is sufficient for EVERYTHING pertaining to our salvation and living for God, with the help of the Holy Spirit(John 14:26). Don't ever doubt the power of the word, or the power of the gospel! For thy word, is truth.
