Im here on account that Su Yi challenged me to post for coffee, or i bet with her... it all started from when carolyn finally treated Josh to orange julius for his first and last post of year 2009! so i made a bet with Su Yi too! and so here i am, winning the bet!!!
But got alot of requirement sia, must have photo, must have this must have that. haiz. but i will meet it! See! i already got the photo of me and someone else! HA! since i actually already wanted to blog. for 2 reasons, 2 follow up on my previous post on 100k, and to update on CGDOP!
CGDOP!
A Few of my group members and co-leader JON! .... and a few more! Every group had their most memorable child of CGDOP, i had mine! so this part of the Post is gonna be about her.........*drum role*
Nathalie Ho!
why? because she started off more quiet than anything. started off going one round of introduction, she spoke so soft, i had to read her name tag thingy!
During the go find 3 other people and write their names on the paper men thingy, she didnt dare to go to anyone! so i dragged her along and "introduced her" on her behalf. she soon started to open up more and talk more.
At the end of the thing, when i asked the group to sit in a circle while waiting for their parents, she started talking more, but she kept wanting to sit infront of the door looking out for her parents! and taht was an amusing time really! dont think ill ever forget her! and she has the cutest logic! "did you guys enjoy yourselves?!"
"yea!!!" *all rattles on simultaneously how they didnt expect it to be fun but enjoyed themselves, and all that other stuff* but the Nathalie was like, shrugging her shoulders! then i asked if she wanted to come back next year, and she was like yes! nodding her head and smiling widely! it was so heartwarming. ha! okay enough about her, well, these were the events of CGDOP! so technically i passed the requirements! yea!
Oh man, im having trouble with blogger. seriously. why can the photos only go on top? its irritating isnt it? okay, so anyway, really, CGDOP has been so timely this year! seeing not just children being impacted, but youths being impacted by children! reminded me once again why i serve proudly in the Children's ministry, KFC!
Next up, updates on blessings campaign. The impossible has happened, and i have no one to thank but God! and He even played the "you've got too many soldiers" act on me! (read gideon if you have no idea what im talking about, in judges). but in the end proved faithful. the sermon this saturday was like a summary of what happened to me! i usually go, "we'll see how much we can do, and give all glory to God!" bu this time, i painted the target first! and prayer, and believed, and saw God work! Not by might, not by power but by the Holy Spirit did we manage to bless the whole level! almost in one week!
Oh the process was just so exciting, through it i met this other struggling SHOP group, which was an answer to their prayers, and even in many ways mine! have plans for SHOP retreat now, and indeed, after praying for the whole level, we believe that Greater things have yet to come, and greater things are still to be done in Catholic High! To God be the Glory!
